Owner and trainer Sam has always had a passion for animals ever since she was young. She grew up training all her families dogs and even one of her cats (yes, cats can be trained too.) A little back story, she originally went to school for film and multimedia, earning a bachelor of arts degree. She realized she was not entirely happy in that world and then along came her second dog Luna. Luna was a challenge, she was not the “typical” dog, she was nervous and scared of everything. Sam hired a trainer to come in and help and unfortunately that trainer made Luna worse. Since Sam had always loved training her own dogs she decided to enroll in ABC college where she earned her dog trainer certification, with the hopes to just help her own pup. During that time she was paired with a trainer who specialized in owner trained service dogs. She realized how much she loves working with dogs and their people, so she started Stellar Pups.

Sam actively participates in AKC performance sports such as Scent Work, FastCat, Dock Diving, Rally, Obedience, and started doing conformation with her puppy Radical. Available to do CGC, Trick Dog, and Fit Dog Titles. She is also an AKC Fetch, Farm Dog, and ATT (Temperament Testing) Judge.
